Embedded Software Engineer (Ethernet)

Role: Looking for embedded software engineer experienced in Ethernet protocols, Layer 2 or Layer 3 development experience, TCP/IP and USB

 

Skills/ Experience:

 

* 2 - 5 years of relevant work experience in embedded software development.
* Strong background in Ethernet protocols and Ethernet lower level software architecture - must
* Should have worked in development of Ethernet L2, L3 protocols - must
* Experience in firmware or lower level driver development for USB/PCie/Ethernet devices - must
* Should be very good in C programming - must
* Knowledge of micro-controller programming for 8051/ARM - good to have
* Exposure to RTOS based software development for SOCs - good to have
* Exposure to Semi-conductor validation - desirable
* Exposure in using tools like USB protocol analyzer, Oscilloscope - desirable
* Exposure to Visual C++, C# programming - good to have
* Good debugging skills in isolating problems in device level firmware/software
* Flexible to work in firmware/driver/application development and device compliance testing
